For the months of September and October\, three Home Hardware locations will be challenging their customers to pledge their support with a donation in-store via a QR code or online at: www.bccancerfoundation.com/homehardware. \nHOME HARDWARE WANTS TO DOUBLE THEIR IMPACT \nPro Builders Supply Ltd. will be matching donations dollar-for-dollar up to $50\,000! \nBC CANCER – KELOWNA CAN CHANGE CANCER OUTCOMES \nWhile many breast cancers are curable\, rare and hard-to-treat subtypes can be deadly\, particularly for younger women. Please check back for more fun craft nights in the future. \nCome join us in November for a night of burlap wreath making\, shopping and tasty treats! \nNovember 22\, 2019 – 6:30pm-9:00pm \nWe will be having wine sampling from Lake Breeze Vineyard\, coffee/tea and desserts from the Prague Café and shopping once your are done making your burlap wreath. \nWhile you enjoy the food and beverages provided\, take a stroll through our housewares department and Christmas gift ware and take advantage of the 20% saving in those two department for this night only. \nThere will be a $20 fee to attend the class and all the money we raise we will be using to sponsor a family this Christmas through SOWINS. \nWe will be limiting the class to 40 participants. DESCRIPTION:Come join us for Halloween crafts and trick or treating! \nWe will have all of the supplies for kids to create 2 different Halloween lantern type crafts to take home and enjoy for Halloween. \nClasses will run from 9:00am-10:30am and 11:00am-12:30pm with classes limited to 20 participants each. \n2 to 12 year olds are welcome to participate and parents are encouraged to help out and enjoy making the crafts with their children. For the month of October\, five Home Hardware locations will be challenging their customers to pledge their support with a donation in store or online at: www.bccancerfoundation.com/homehardware. \nHOME HARDWARE WANTS TO DOUBLE THEIR IMPACT \nHome Hardware will be matching donations dollar-for-dollar up to $50\,000! \nBC CANCER – KELOWNA CAN CHANGE CANCER OUTCOMES \nThis year\, more than 3\,700 British Columbians will be diagnosed with breast cancer\, it’s reported to account for around 25% of all new cancer cases in women. But BC Cancer is working to stay one step ahead of the disease. In fact\, mortality rates have decreased around 44% since 1987.
